Hexaware grabs €5-m contract in Germany

MUMBAI, INDIA:  Hexaware Technologies Ltd. today announced that it has won a large deal worth €5 million in Germany.

Without naming its client Hexaware said it would build a new core application for the leading German financial institution. The project would also involve integration of the new built solution with the back-end system involving three different businesses of the client.

Hexaware has already deployed a large J2EE programming team and Oracle experts on the project, said the company in a press release.

“Our client has initiated a technology modernization program which aims at improving operational efficiency and achieve better business performance. Hexaware has been selected as a partner in their initiative to stay ahead of competition, which would drive their operational efficiency and also give a boost to their revenue growth,” said Sunil Surya, president, European Operations, Hexaware Technologies.

Hexaware has Global Development Center in Bad Homburg set up in 2004. The center houses a team of over 110 professionals.

Europe contributes about 27 per cent of Hexaware’s global revenue.
