Hexaware bags $1.2m UK order

NEW DELHI: Hexaware Technologies has announced that it has won an order worth $1.2 million from a global insurance company based in UK. According to the company, the insurance company required a partner who could take on running and supporting the complex conversion activity that was to include both the technical conversion suite and data enhancing activities. Hexaware was selected as a partner for this collaborative venture.






This multiple deployment project will involve automated data conversion from the existing legacy system to the target system for various European countries. Hexaware has already deployed a large team of experts.





Hexaware president — European operations Sunil Surya said, "Hexaware has already established its leadership position by focusing on delivering significant business value in core domain. The client was convinced of our understanding of the domain sensitivity and also our experience with handling of such large conversion projects. This contract further strengthens Hexaware's position in the Insurance Vertical."





Hexaware has been consistently focusing on European market and for the last quarter of 2004, 24.8 percent of the total revenue of Rs 157 crore came from the European region.
