EUROPE: Hertz has announced that it has renewed its existing relationship with BT with a three year extension to their current contract. The three year deal will provide networked IT services to Hertz Europe Ltd and will enable Hertz to deliver excellent levels of customer service across its European offices via a collaborative IT infrastructure. BT provides networked IT services to 1100 of Hertz Europe’s locations.
As a press release shares, BT’s networked IT services provide Hertz Europe with technology to connect its corporate headquarters with more than 1,100 rental station sites across Europe. Additionally, BT will support more than 9,000 desktop devices, printers and servers. The network will deliver critical information to Hertz locations throughout Europe, enabling the effective reservation fulfilment for every Hertz customer.
