BANGALORE, INDIA: Hyderabad-based health-tech startup, DoctorC has announced the official launch of its services in Bangalore, along with its growth roadmap for the next two months.

The company has already partnered with diagnostic centers in Bangalore and is in the process to tie up with more over the next two months, to offer its services to citizens in the city.

DoctorC is a mobile and internet application which enables consumers to compare prices and quality across various tests that include MRI, CT Scans, Ultrasound, Blood tests, ECG, and EEG amongst others, across a variety of diagnostic centers in the city and book appointments.

They organize local information about healthcare providers and services which help consumers make educated choices. In the process, they also provide discounts and allow the tests to be booked on the phone, online or through a mobile app.

“Bangalore is a key market for us, with its higher concentration of tech-savvy demographic, who look for service delivery on-the-go. The city also has a large number of healthcare service providers, and we feel the time is right for us to forge partnerships that will take us to the next level of growth,” said Mansi Gandhi, COO and co-founder of DoctorC.

"The ecosystem of users and investors is maturing fast in India. Consumers look for more options to transact online, while investors are showing greater interest towards creating an environment conducive for healthcare startups in India,” she added.

The company announced in September, that it had raised INR 2.5 crore through seed funding from California-based Leviathan Investments, Hyderabad-based Spice Capital, and Indian Angel Network members Sanjay Jesrani, founder and CEO of Go North Ventures.
