NEW DELHI, INDIA: Tokyo-headquartered Hitachi Data Systems (HDS) Corporation has unveiled new solutions to facilitate cloud adoption among enterprise sector. These new offerings include file sync and sharing capabilities.
The company, together with Hitachi Content Platform Anywhere (HCP Anywhere), is offering an integrated, single-vendor enterprise file sync and share product, aimed to streamline process with collaboration, control and compliance to facilitate mobility.
The company claims that the new HDS cloud solutions reduce TCO by 60 per cent and help manage multiple demands of IT. These include large unstructured data, access to information from anywhere, security enhancement, and data simplicity and protection.
The solutions are cloud-enabled platforms that support unified, virtualized and distributed environments in organizations, it adds.
HDS executive vice president, Global Solutions Strategy and Development John Mansfield said that their unique approach to cloud allows their customers to choose the best possible solutions to address their needs.
"Our cloud portfolio does more than just solve the challenges customers face today; it sets them up for what is coming next," Mansfield added.
"With this new cloud package, HDS is leveraging its enterprise solution provider strengths at the core and has done a nice job providing a consumer-like experience at the edge. Its new HCP Anywhere application and platform should be particularly appealing to security-conscious end users," said ESG senior analyst Terri McClure.
