HCL-Toshiba launch eco-efficient notebooks

NEW DELHI: Toshiba, in association with HCL Infosystems, has launched its “world’s first range of eco-efficient consumer and business notebooks.

"The new range is compliant with the European Union (EU) RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) directive", Toshiba said in a statement.

The new eco-efficient range includes, thin & light PORTÉGÉ M500 ultraportables with 12.1-inch diagonal XGA display and swappable optical drive, coupled with Toshiba EasyGuard features; Business series TECRA A8 with 14.1-inch diagonal XGA display and Toshiba EasyGuard features; Qosmio next-generation "four-in-one" audio-video notebook series with HD DVDROM and Advanced performance and energy efficient Satellite M100/A100 with 15.4-inch diagonal WXGA widescreen display with Clear SuperView Technology.

Toshiba has also unveiled its new advertising campaign, ‘Beyond Freedom’, for the South and South-East Asian markets.
