HCL Technologies plans ADR issue

NEW DELHI: HCL Technologies Ltd plans to issue American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) to raise up to $500 million, a company spokesman said on Monday. "We have filed with the SEs (stock exchanges) for this," the spokesman told Reuters. "It is up to $500 million." He said he could not immediately give other details.

The firm's shares were traded at 1,015 rupees in late afternoon trade on Monday at the Bombay stock exchange, up 6.15 rupees from the previous close.
