HCL Tech sees Q2 rise

NEW DELHI: HCL Technologies Ltd., the country's fifth-largest software services firm, said on Monday quarterly profit rose 61 percent on the back of growing outsourcing business.

New Delhi-based HCL Technologies said consolidated net income for the December quarter stood at $64.7 million, compared with $40.2 million in the same quarter an year ago.

Revenue in the past quarter rose 41 percent to $331.1 million.
