“TOP ICT Employers in the UK” is published by the CRF in close association with Computing Magazine, and endorsed by the British Computer Society (BCS), the National Computing Centre (NCC) and the trade association Intellect.

This guide takes cognizance of leading employment practices and career opportunities for IT professionals across ICT companies. It ranks HCL Great Britain alongside leading ICT companies such as Tesco and Nokia.

HCL Great Britain was selected in the “TOP ICT Employers in the UK” guide on the basis of its innovation, progress in delivering competitive pay and benefits, active development and promotion of staff, the availability of training and company culture.

HCL Great Britain is a subsidiary of HCL Technologies. In UK, HCL owns and operates the Apollo BPO center in Belfast and another delivery center at Armagh, Northern Ireland (UK). HCL is the only Indian IT company with local investments in facilities.

HCL today employs approximately 2350 employees in the UK, 2000 of which are UK nationals. This makes HCL the largest Indian IT employer in the UK of local staff and among the top 10 private sector employers.
