The deployment was carried out by Oracle India Partner Solution Center (PSC), located in Oracle’s premises in Gurgaon, and the solution is targetted at automating transactions, facilitating branch operations at a faster pace and manage more transactions per day.

The deployment is expected to cater to India’s financial service industry namely Public Sector Banks for Financial Inclusion, Regional Rural Banks, State and District Co-operative banks, Urbank Co-operative Banks and Primary Agricultural Credit societies. This is apparently the reason why Oracle was chosen since it provides performance to service 6000+ concurrent users, and enables seamless integration of all institutional delivery channels and enterprise-wide systems

In addition, Oracle Database 11g enables enterprises, including banks, to deliver a high quality of service and provide 24x7 data availability. Moreover, it helps enterprises to securely protect data and meet regulatory compliance demands.
