HCL Infosystems ties-up with Cisco

BANGALORE, INDIA: HCL Infosystems Ltd., hardware, services and ICT systems integration and distribution company, has partnered Cisco WebEx, the latter's collaboration, online meeting, web and video conferencing platform, for the Indian market.

The software-as-a-service (SaaS) offering brought to the market by HCL Infosystems, will be operationalised by Cisco.

With this go-to-market engagement, HCL Infosystems and Cisco aim to expand the market and tap into the growing need for B2B (business to business) and B2C (business to customer) collaboration tools and technologies, across the country, says a release.

D Mohanty, vice president - sales, HCL Infosystems, said “Our extensive distribution reach, direct sales force and innovative solutions will lend the desired resources to enable Cisco WebEx to be accessible to  SMEs, large corporates and government organisations anywhere in India.” 

HCL Infosystems' video solutions would now include web conferencing, desktop conferencing, video conferencing, telepresence and telepresence with three screens.
