NEW DELHI: Indian information technology firm HCL Infosystems said on Monday
it had bagged a major wide area network order from state-run Indian Overseas
Bank to connect 200 bank branches spread across 11 cities. HCL Infosystems did
not provide any details on the value of the contract.
"Besides network implementation, HCL Infosystems will also configure and
customize the network for any branch banking. Once implemented, IOB would be
networked in more than 17 cities," the computer and network services firm
said in a statement.
The firm's shares were quoted at Rs 200.10 on the Bombay exchange in
afternoon trade, little changed from its previous close of Rs 199.35.
