MUMBAI, INDIA: Hardware, services and ICT systems integration and distribution company HCL Infosystems announced recently that it has reached a business partnership with Ernakulam District Co-operative Bank in Kerala for providing HCL ME Laptops, with 0 per cent interest.
The scheme is being offered to the account holders by Ernakulam District Co-operative Bank for enabling consumer finance for purchase of computing devices, said a press release. The scheme is being offered at 0 per cent interest with 100 per cent financing and no processing charge levied.
The tenure of the loan process is 24 months, and the loan will be processed within 24 hours, said the bank.
Government employees can avail the facility without guarantee and employees from any private sector organization and other account holders need to give one guarantor to the bank. This scheme will be available across all the branches of the Ernakulam District Co-operative Bank.
While speaking about the partnership J V Ramamurthy, president and COO, HCL Infosystems said, “The idea is to reach out to customers across India, who needs computing devices but face problems with the unavailability of financial assistance.”
Saseendran V.P, president, Ernakulam District Co-operative Bank, said this partnership will bring a revolution in the adoption of computing devices by masses.
“The scheme which we have introduced collectively is an endeavor to assist the potential customers in acquiring computing equipments for their own professional and/or personal use at a very affordable price.
