Haryana's Transport Dept. launches e-payment facility

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Chief Minister of Haryana has rolled out a website- www.haryanatransport.gov.in, an e-payment gateway and SMS facility for Haryana's Transport Department.

These initiatives have been taken to facilitate the citizens by providing various services online and bring more transparency within the department.

Through this website, people can avail all the services online. "With the launch of the web portal, the people would not have to now visit the registering or licences offices as they would be able to avail the services even while being at home," said Hardeep Kumar, Principal Secretary, Transport.
