The nation is acquiring Falcon III RF-7800S Secure Personal Radios and RF-7800V Combat Net Radios, along with Falcon II RF-5800H High Frequency Radios for improved communications interoperability between U.S. and partner forces.

According to Brendan O'Connell, president, International Business, Harris RF Communications: "Harris radios provide users with enhanced command and control and situational awareness for real-time decision-making and set the standard for reliability and interoperability. These capabilities are crucial for a well-coordinated response to illicit drug trafficking and other challenges addressed by the nation's security forces.''

Falcon III is the world's most widely fielded family of next-generation tactical radios, providing enhanced situational awareness of the battlefield through integrated line-of-sight, beyond-line-of-sight and wideband communications capabilities. Harris has shipped more than 45,000 of the radios to the U.S. Department of Defense as well as allied forces in more than 15 nations.
