Hardware Summit in software city

BANGALORE: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) will be conducting the India Hardware Summit 2003 in Bangalore from November 5- November 6, 2003. This annual event will be supported by MAIT and the media partner will be Dataquest.



The summit will discuss electronic hardware opportunities in the country, India's offering to the hardware industry, Indian success stories and a final panel discussion on where the country can go from its present position, the factors that could prove to be building blocks and others that can be stumbling ones.



Speakers at the summit will include, HP India president Balu Doraisamy, Texas Instruments India MD, Bobby Mitra, Sun Microsystems MD Bhaskar Pramanik, Tyco Electronics MD, KU Subbaiah and TVS Electronics president, Gopal Srinivasan among others.



The summit will be held in Bangalore for the first time. It was held in Mumbai last year. Chief Minister of Karnataka, SM Krishna and Penang Manufacturers Consortium chief, D Vidya among others will address the inaugural session of the summit.
