Happiest Minds' Ramakanth Desai quits

BANGALORE: Happiest Minds president and co-CEO of IT services business Ramakanth Desai has quit the company.

Desai, who is learnt to have resigned from the position in October, could not be immediately reached but Happiest Minds confirmed his exit, reported Economc Times.

It also quoted Ashok Soota, executive chairman of Happiest Minds, as saying: "Ramakanth Desai has decided to pursue his long term ambition of serving the academic world. We appreciate all the leadership support he provided Happiest Minds over the last one year."

Desai, a former Wipro executive, joined Happiest Minds had joined Hapiiest Minds in August last year.
