hackCBS 3.0: Delhi University invites applications to Student-Run Online Hackathon; Prizes upto 50k

hackCBS 3.0 is an initiative of the Student's Union at Delhi University. The third edition of this Online Hackathon is a legacy of DU that aims to collaborate the intellects of programmers, designers, application developers, tech-geeks and newbies in the world of programming for the intensive development of a hack.

The website states, "At hackCBS, we help you turn your ideas into reality by providing a comforting and welcoming environment. You’ll have all the freedom to create a product, learn new things, and to have hilariously funny moments with your friends. Moreover, we’ll offer you a chance to network with working professionals and hacker community leaders. You will never learn faster than you will at a hackathon." If you love to code, Delhi University and its students welcome you to participate in the hackathon.

What will you have to do?

In the hackathon, you will first have to register for the event. It is free of cost. You can register with at most 4 people in a team where you will learn how to hack before the d-day. Next, the organising institute i.e. Delhi University and the judges will shortlist participants on the basis of an online interview.

Students should not be working on their projects before hackCBS 3.0 begins; Delhi University will not allow participants to work on pre-existing projects. However, you can familiarize yourself with all the tools and technologies you intend to use beforehand.

You can register for any of the six themes where you would want to hack. The themes are Fintech, Edtech, Games & Entertainment, Productivity & Networking, HealthCare, Agritech and Open Innovation.

The event has cash as well as non-monetary prizes worth Rs 50,000.
