"GVC-300 integrates with IP phone and IPPBX for medium businesses and would serve as a cost effective communication solution supporting both voice and video. At a time when the best of IP videophones cost anywhere around Rs 75.000 to 1 lakh, D-link will launch this product into the market at Rs 23,000-25,000," Dalal said.

Natarajan, VP - R & D, D-Link (India) Ltd., said: "In this era of cost cutting every company is looking forward to lessen its travel expense. On one hand, broadband is witnessing a boom, which in turn calls for bandwidth hungry killer applications. While, on the other side, cellular growth with 3G operators is in turn boosting video base products.

Moreover, SMB/SME/SOHOS sectors are witnessing a high growth trend, thus traditional communication technologies are paving way for new voice and video communication modes. All these paved way for GVC-300"
