Gaurab Jyoti Neog, a reporter from the channel Newslive, that filmed the molestation in Guwahati, was arrested last week. He is a close friend of Kalita's, according to the police. They also say he incited the mob to attack the victim..

However, some people are concerned that Amar Jyoti Kalita might flee from the location if the news of him being traced is so widely publicized.

But it looks like this is being done to catch the main accused. Internet and social media has played a huge role in arresting the 12 accused, who's pictures were flashed not just in Guwahati but circulated widely on the Web.
