According to a Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) report, 680 industrial units and the railways together consume 40 per cent of the country’s power production. In such a scenario, the company feels that it is right time to leverage relevant solutions to address the issue.

It believes that the recent BSE green index communiqué is a right step in this direction. Energy efficiency, timely analytics and sustainability management have become key imperatives for developing countries like India, it says.

GreenField is yet to ink a deal with its solution partners. The company is looking at power-hungry industries, such as government, private data centers and BFSI, as well as continuous processing sectors such as cement, paper and manufacturing.
