Grapecity plans $4 m Noida facility

NEW DELHI: GrapeCity India today announced the launch of its new state-of-the-art infrastructure operation centre at Noida with an investment of $4 million. The new complex will house 350 staff against its current strength of 140 staff.




Commenting on the new facility GrapeCity Group president Daniel Fanger said, "In-line with our commitment towards India, we wanted to create the best working environment for our employees, and with this move, we foresee a good growth in our India operations."




Adds, GrapeCity US vice-president and chief marketing officer of the Group Monte Rosenand, "This is one more example of our efforts in India, and as our worldwide sales efforts are growing, we expect the Noida office to be the hub of our software development activities."




The GrapeCity Noida complex is based on an open-office concept with extensive usage of sandstone, and the top dome has been especially designed to let in natural light. A sunken garden with an amphitheatre is one of the special features, and there are water features both inside and outside the complex. The whole complex runs on 100 percent captive power and has fully automated air conditioning, generator, and utility systems.
