Granryd to head Ericsson's India operations

NEW DELHI: Ericsson today announced the appointment of Mats Granryd as the head of Market Unit - India and Sri Lanka and managing director of Ericsson India Pvt. Ltd.

Granryd will be leading Ericsson's efforts to provide mobile and broadband Internet communications to the Indian telecom market. He will be responsible for maintaining and strengthening Ericsson's leadership position.

Granryd has been with Ericsson for over ten years now. Before this appointment, he was the president of the Ericsson Mobile Systems - CDMA Business Unit in San Diego, USA.

He has been involved in the telecommunications industry for over fifteen years, holding senior management positions with corporations, such as Anderson consulting, Arrigo Consultants and Telia Mobile.
