The new dashboard not only allows you to track your online behavior, it also lets you delete or edit any content, or entire topic if you want to. It is important to note, that the app will show your search activity only in case you use Google as your primary search engine and own a Google account. Otherwise, of course, Google would have no access to your online activity.

For a moment, you might think how much of data Google has been registering of your online activities. Though we already know that Google collects tons of our information, mainly to show personalized ads; the plus point is that Google is providing this as an opt-in option. Choosing this option only means you are allowing Google to have more information of yours.

Meanwhile, the search engine has also added a new feature that lets you personalize the ads that you see. These ads are generally based on the content you search, the websites that you visit and the videos you watch. Therefore, by making changes to your activity track, you can also customize the kind of ads that Google pops up on your screen.
