Google now lets you make salon bookings through Maps and Search

Earlier this year, Google had introduced a new feature allowing customers to reserve their spot in the fitness and wellness centers through Google Maps and Search. The search engine company is now expanding on that feature to allow you to do the same with salon and spas.

Booking an appointment is quite simple and you can do it in a couple of ways. You can either go to Google Maps, search for the salon, pick an appointment and then tap the book button in the business listing. Or you can visit Reserve with Google website, search for your salon and get your booking done. Those with Google Wallet enabled can also pay for services if supported.

Google has already partnered with Genbook, SalonRunner, Rosy, Yocale, MindBody, and WellnessLiving and will be adding many more in the coming future, including Booksy, Envision, MyTime, Schedulicity, Setmore, Shore, SimpleSpa, SuperSalon and TimeTrade.

You can also access Google's 'Reserve with Google' service to discover different types of services offered by local businesses including yoga, haircut, massages and book your appointment.

Google says that it will be adding more categories to the Reserve with Google program in coming days.
