Google Nexus 7 only after 3 months?

BANGALORE, INDIA: The first ever Tablet PC manufactured by Google in association with Asus, the Google Nexus Tablet will still take some more time to come to India, say sources. The Google Asus Nexus 7 (Asus Nexus 7) will cost Rs 11,000 approximately in India.

Its launch date, if sources are to be believed will be only in the month of September and not any time before that. Various other sources state that the Tablet will be released only in October.

This strategy by Google and Asus seems confusing as the Google Nexus 7 is widely anticipated in India and could bring both the manufacturers a lot of profit/sales. Even experts have stated that the Tablet will surely be a hit among Indian buyers since its USP is the low-cost (Rs 11,000).

Low-cost Tablets have always caught the fancy of people in India, be it the Aakash Tablet or even the BSNL Tablet. People rush in to buy low-cost gadgets. Putting the launch date of the Google Asus Nexus forward, people are sure to feel that “element” of frustration.

It would surely be better if Google releases the Nexus 7 as early as possible in India before it is too late.
