Google Nexus 7 32GB version comes to Google Play India

NEW DELHI, INDIA: After Nexus 7 16GB variant, the Google Nexus 7 32GB Wi-Fi only tablet has been made available to Indians on the Google Play Store at Rs. 18,999.

The post was first spotted by NDTV. The Google Play website mentions that the device is ''in stock'' and ships in 1-2 business days. 

The Nexus 7 16GB version was made available on the India Play Store last month at Rs. 15,999. The specs of the Nexus 7 tablet are as follows: 7 inch screen, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor, 4325mAH battery, 1GB RAM, 1.2MP primary camera, NFC and so on.

Asus, the company that manufactures the tablet, sold a limited number of devices last year in India at Rs. 19,999 via Croma retail stores, according to a report on NDTV.

However, Asus yesterday unveiled its own tablet. The Asus FonePad offers phone functionality, including 3G connectivity for mobile data and full telephony support.
