Google Maps allows creating and sharing lists from desktop

Earlier this year, Google Maps introduced the Lists feature which enables users to create a list of places to visit and also share them with their friends. However, the feature was available only for Android and iOS users. But now Google is making it available for desktop users as well.

This functionality gives Google Maps users on PCs and laptops the ability to create new lists, add places to existing lists, and share them with their friends and family through messaging and even social media with a simple link.

"Lists have arrived on your desktop. Now when you find places on Google Maps, you can save them to lists that will sync across your devices," said Google in a blog post on its Local Guides Connect site.

To create or share a list of places on Google Maps through desktop, users can find a place on Maps for desktop and then tap on Save. They can either add it to one of the existing lists or create a new one. You also have the option of keeping your list private, shared or public.
