Google I/O 2013 live; Nexus 7 and Smartwatch launch expected

BANGALORE, INDIA: It seems the time has come for Google to finally show off its next generation tablet, the Nexus 7, and of course, the much-awaited Smartwatch. Now, all eyes are on the developer conference Google I/O scheduled to be held in San Francisco between May 15-17 and it will be streamed live by Google at 11.30 pm on Tuesday.

As Apple Insider notes, the new Nexus 7 is expected to pack a high-resolution screen, better cameras and wireless charging, all for $199. The 7-inch tablet is expected to run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Google smartwatch UI is rumoured to be similar to Google Glass.
