Google announced in a blog post that its Chrome browser now supports virtual reality (VR) films, games, and other experiences through WebVR. With the new update, the company said it's now "as easy to step inside Air Force One as it is to access your favourite web page."

Google is integrating WebVR into chrome, which allows VR experiences to be hosted on websites.

You can view content on Chrome with Daydream-ready phones and a Daydream View headset. Just update your Chrome browser and choose a VR experience you want to view, enter VR, and put the phone in your Daydream View headset.

You can also explore these experiences without such equipment. “If you don’t have a headset you can view VR content on any phone or desktop computer and interact using your finger or mouse,” Google product manager Megan Lindsay wrote in a blog post.

Google is also planning to "...add support for more headsets, including Google Cardboard."

The tech company has already created a content library for the same. You can visit Bear71, and explore the intersection between humans, animals and technology. Or else you can visit Matterport’s library that stocks experience from over 300,000+ celebrity homes, museums, canyons, iconic architecture and other real places. You can also check out PlayCanvas and play a record with your Daydream controller.

What are you waiting for? Open your Chrome browser and get started with your VR experience now.
