BANGALORE, INDIA: Google today announced Google Developer Day in India. The developer day is scheduled on October 18 in Bangalore at the Chancery Pavilion.
A company statement said that the function would serve as an in-depth gathering platform for developers to share knowledge about Google's tools and about web application development in general.
"It's an incredibly exciting time to be a web developer, with so many powerful APIs, open distribution platforms, and development tools becoming available for easy and often free consumption," said Prasad Ram, head of engineering and R&D, Google India.
“Google's developer events are a place for developers to celebrate this moment, collaborate with each other, and learn about faster and better paths to successful web applications and a better web," he added.
The audience at developer day would receive talks from top Google engineers and would even get a mix of practical, hands-on advice for building web applications as well as opportunities to learn about emerging programming trends, said a press release.
