Good Data, which recently completed a $2 million initial round of funding from private investors, plans to deliver a cloud-based platform for business intelligence projects. The company is developing a hosted service that will offer small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) access to collaborative business intelligence tools in an easy-to-implement, inexpensive way.

The private beta offering gives users a chance to experiment with Good Data technology to create their own reports or check out pre-built reports using sample data from the sales and marketing portal of a fictional medium-sized company.

"We look forward to hearing beta users' feedback about how they can best use our application to leverage their data without a lot of heavy lifting on the IT side," said Roman Stanek, founder and CEO of Good Data Corporation. "Their input will be valuable as we develop our service to be the most strategic, intuitive and cost-effective solution in this new, exciting space."
