Goa Travel operator takes the Mobile bus

DELHI: Atom technologies, a provider of mobile payment solutions has tied-up with Paulo Travels, a transport operator in Goa to provide ticket booking and payments services over the phone. This facility will be available to customers in cities such as Goa, Hyderabad, Pune, Bangalore, Mangalore, Mumbai, Hampi (Karnataka) and Karwar (Karnataka), Ahmedabad, Mysore.

“To improve service quality, capitalize on enquiries and ensure that we do not miss out on potential business, we have implemented atom Technologies IVR platform. In this fast moving consumer society, value added services are seen to gain more popularity.

To increase our reach and ensure that customers from every corners of the country can avail this facility we have tied up with atom. With atom, we will be able to provide our customers uninterrupted service even while on the move,” said Mario S Pereira, Proprietor, Paulo Travels.

The customer can call on Paulo’s assigned number and book for their travel route, bus preference and seat preference date etc. On confirmation by the customer, the call is transferred to the IVR system, following which the customer has to enter credit card details. Once the verification is complete, the customer will get an automated response and the e-ticket is issued accordingly, says a press release.

During the peak season especially within the Goa – Mumbai belt witnesses an inflow of about 1,09,700 visitors.

These regions account for over 20 per cent of Paulo’s overall bookings. atom’s IVR solution claims to provide easy reach for Paulo’s customers for hassle-free and secure ticket bookings just by dialing to their call center, the company adds.
