Globe Telecon and Utiba join hands

MANILA: Utiba, a supplier of mobile commerce platforms for mobile operators and financial institutions, today announced a tie-up with Globe Telecom, a telco in the Philippines, to announce an initiative during the Mobile Money Transfer Conference in Philippines.

This Mobile Money Transfer Conference being held in Philippines on December 08, 09 will be the first ever conference where participants will experience the successful GCash model live. Successfully deployed by Globe Telecom, GCash works on Utiba’s platform and gives subscribers access to a cashless and cardless method of facilitating monetary transactions, says a press release.

Elaborating on the initiative, Justin Ho, CEO, Utiba Mobility said “GCash is an extremely successful model in the mobile payments space and has helped in enhancing lifestyles of many individuals. We would like all participants at the conference to experience GCash.”
