To start with the company is planning to set up four CoEs. Pune CoE, which is underway, would specialize in voice-specific capabilities.

In the offing are other CoEs in Nagpur (Mobile), Delhi (Wireless) and Ukraine (engineering).

In addition, it has also shortlisted South India besides Latin America as possible destinations for acquisition. Chennai and Hyderabad could be one of the packs that would pump the company's inorganic growth.

The company has earmarked its third round of funding totaling $30 million purely for acquisitions.

Rohit Sharma, director marketing, GlobalLogic, said, "India contributes eight per cent to global revenue and this will grow up to 20 per cent. Also eventually about 60 per cent of our global workforce would be based here."

The company has just expanded in Ukraine with the acquisition of Validio Software and is eyeing Israel as its next interest area.

It would continue taking over captives, another growth avenue, separate from acquisitions.

"We will acquire three or more captives this year as well."

The company would be looking at university tie-ups for training students at Velocity, the agile development platform that it has developed. Pune would be a fertile ground for that purpose.
