INDIA: Logica, the IT and business services company, has launched its Global Venture Partner Programme to invite some of the world's most innovative small and medium businesses (SMBs) to present their products and propositions to its senior management team. Those companies identified as the most innovative will win the opportunity to develop a joint go-to-market strategy with Logica and take their proposition to Logica's blue chip customers.

The programme is being run across eight major countries - UK, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, France, Netherlands, Portugal and India, with the aim of ensuring real innovation is brought to market in the right way to deliver actual business benefits to organisations.

"The Global Venture Partner Programme, now in its second year, builds on Logica's reputation as a leading innovator in IT and business services. Our aim is to bring new technology solutions to market and recognise the essential role that these companies play in driving real IT innovation and customers satisfaction to clients," said GBS Bindra, Director of Innovation at Logica.

The competitive selection process will be held in two stages. The first stage will be in a country where five short-listed companies will have an opportunity to present for one hour to Logica's senior country management team. The winner from each country will be awarded with the Country Winner Trophy and will then qualify for stage two. During this second stage, the country winners will culminate in one location and present again for an hour to Logica's international senior management team. The winner will then be chosen and Logica will partner with them to deliver added value to its key clients.
