Gigabyte unveils Dual Core Atom motherboard

MUMBAI, INDIA: Gigabyte Technology, a provider of motherboards, graphics cards, announced the launch of their latest motherboard for the new Intel Atom processor D510, the GA-D510UD. Gigabyte GA-D510UD is designed to unleash the power of the new Intel Atom processor D510 which supports the new revolutionary two–chip layout, said a press release.

The Intel 45nm Atom Dual-Core D510 processor provides an easy-to-use flexibility and cost effective platform. Enhanced with all solid capacitors design, GA-D510UD brings small yet powerful and stable platform, the release added.

The new motherboard features Gigabyte Ultra Durable 3 design, with 2 ounces of copper for both the Power and Ground layers to enable lower system temperature, improve energy efficiency and enhance stability for overclocking, said Gigabyte. Other added onboard features include DualBIOS and Energy Using Products Directive (EuP), for a powerful, yet power efficient multimedia platform.

The new generation Intel Atom processor for entry-level desktops continues to provide innovation through integrated graphics built directly into the CPU using Intel 45nm high-k metal gate technology, enabling smaller and more energy efficient designs.
