BANGALORE, INDIA: Mumbai based errand-running and same-day delivery service GetMyPeon received its first round of seed funding of Rs. 1.5 crore after being in the business for over two and a half years.

GetMyPeon provides services to 1000+ active clients operating in Mumbai, Thane & Vashi.

Bharat Ahirwar, founder - GetMyPeon said, “GetMyPeon was started with a simple vision of running errands for individuals and helping them with their daily chores. This has now turned into a reliable, affordable, dependable and the most available service to get anything personal to official done in the city. Weather its picking up cakes, parcel, gifts, wedding cards, couriers to taking your car / bike for servicing or receiving guests from the Airport/Railway station; we offer it all. This round of funding will help us scale up operations to greater heights.”

The funds received will essentially be invested in infrastructure; i.e. technology (frontend & backend), vehicles, hiring more executives on field, mobile platform and geographical expansion.

In addition to the traditional way of taking orders via calls & emails, GetMyPeon also accepts orders via WhatsApp and Twitter.
