Get certified with Oracle University

NEW DELHI: Oracle University has announced the availability of Oracle E-Business Suite 11i Applications certification program.

For years, Oracle Database professionals have used Oracle Certified Professional certification to advance their careers, increase their employment value, and gain prestige. Now IT professionals can take advantage of the same opportunity with the new Oracle E-Business Suite 11i Applications certification program.

Based on version 11i of Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle University E-Business Suite curriculum, the Applications certification requires the successful completion of a series of rigorous online and proctored examinations. The program enables Applications professionals to pursue three certification paths:

• Oracle E- Business Suite 11i Financials Certified Professional Consultant,
• Oracle E-Business Suite 11i Supply Chain Certified Professional Consultant
• Oracle E-Business Suite 11i Applications Technology Certified Professional Administrator.

Each path validates and recognizes specific areas of competency within Oracle E-Business Suite 11i Applications usage and concepts. Additional applications certification paths are in development and will be implemented by Oracle University in the near future.

Additionally, certification programs are also being made available for professionals aspiring to get certified on other Oracle Applications.

As a lead up to the launch of the Oracle E-Business Suite 11i Applications certification program in India in March 2007, Oracle University in India is currently running beta programs with more than 100 IT consultants from leading global system integrator (SI) organisations such as Infosys Technologies and Wipro Technologies.

The knowledge of Oracle Certified Professionals helps keep project implementations on schedule and within the budget. This in turn leads to a quicker return on investment for customers.
