Genpact appoints Rakesh Chopra as Sr Vice President

NEW DELHI: Genpact, formerly GE Capital International Services, today announced
the appointment of Rakesh Chopra as senior vice president and business leader.






In his new role, Rakesh will be the Business Leader for Genpact's Finance Center
of Excellence (CoE), Financial Services CoEs, Insurance, and Global Finance and

Accounting.






Rakesh joins the company from Convergys where he was country manager for their
BPO operations.






Rakesh has significant Industry experience, of which 12 years were with GE and
Genpact. In his earlier roles, he has been a Business Leader, and CFO of GE

Capital India and CEO of the GE Capital JV with State Bank of India.






His extensive experience in the financial service industry will help Genpact
drive the next generation of growth and excellence for the organization.






Rakesh is also credited as being one of Genpact's early success builders and his
joining back is a further testament to the value proposition that Genpact is

building as a Market Leader and Employer of Choice.






Rakesh is a graduate in Economics and a Chartered Accountant from England.
