IIT Bombay is reopening the GATE 2021 registration portal today, that is October 28, 2020. This is to help candidates who wish to change their choice of exam centres and cities. The correction window will be open from October 28 to November 13, 2020.

As IIT Bombay said, “The change(s), one or combinations, can be made one-time only during Wednesday 28th October 2020 to Friday 13th November 2020; by login at GOAPS portal using candidates’ valid login credentials. Considering the ongoing pandemic situation, GATE 2021 committee has decided to give more options to the successfully registered candidates to modify the choice of cities for GATE 2021 examination at free of cost.”

Cost of change in GATE 2021 paper

The candidates must note that the change in the city is free of cost. That is, they do not need to pay any fee for it.
