Gartner rates Verizon Business as 'Strong Positive'

SINGAPORE: Gartner Inc. has rated Verizon Business as “Strong Positive” in the industry analyst firm’s new “MarketScope for Managed Security Services in Asia Pacific.”

According to Gartner’s report, “All of the managed security service providers (MSSPs) included in this research have indicated that continued presence in the market requires continuous expansion of their service portfolios. This requirement was echoed by clients that are increasingly attracted to MSSPs that can offer a wide range of services that go well beyond traditional firewall and intrusion detection system/intrusion prevention system (IDS/IPS) management and monitoring.”

To achieve a “Strong Positive” rating, companies must be “viewed as a provider of strategic products, services or solutions.”
