[Funding] Edtech Udayy raises $2.5M from Alpha Wave Incubation and Info Edge Ventures

[Funding] Shiprocket raises USD 41.3 million in Series D1 from PayPal Ventures and others

Udayy, the live learning platform for children in Grades 1 to 5, has raised $2.5 million seed funding. Alpha Wave Incubation (AWI) of Falcon Edge Capital and InfoEdge Ventures led the round. This round also saw participation from Better Capital, Kunal Shah and other angels. The company will use the capital proceeds for the next phase of its growth. This will include curriculum development, product suite expansion. Udayy also aims to hire across the product, curriculum and engineering Teams.

Saumya Yadav, Mahak Garg, and Karan Varshney – alumni of IIT Delhi and Stanford University founded Udayy. It raised its first round of angel funding in June 2019. Since its inception, Udayy has built a highly differentiated model in India’s ed-tech ecosystem.
