Fujitsu upgrades Lifebook portfolio

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Fujitsu India has today refreshed its Lifebook notebook portfolio in addition to ultrabooks upgrade. With new Lifebook U772 model, the company becomes the first vendor to ship new generation ultrabook with enterprise-standard featuring Intel vPro technology.

Lifebook U772 comes with red and silver shell and frameless display. It's also secured with Advanced Theft Protection technology, using which users can remotely locate a lost or stolen device. The ultrabook also offers optional built-in 3G/UMTS or 4G/LTE support.

Fujitsu's 2012 Lifebook portfolio offers flexibility and is user friendly. The new refresh lineup includes Lifebook ultrabook U772, Lifebook UH572, P772, AH 552/SL, P702, LH532, AH 532 and NH532. Commenting on the upgrade, the company said that they are trying to position themselves for future-ready technology.

Alok Sharma, country manager for workplace systems at Fujitsu India, said that their products are customer oriented and are technically sound and have functional perfection. The company also said that they will introduce zero-watt technology soon.

Fujitsu India MD Mark Wilson said their main focus areas included size, weight, mobility and design improvements that could facilitate business users. ''We offer end-to-end services and products and are focusing on service-led continuous improvements,'' he added.

''We are reinforcing value to our environmental commitment by reducing customers' carbon footprints,'' Wilson said. Fujitsu, he said, is dedicated to reduce 15 million tones of carbon emission globally.
