Fujitsu Consulting names new HR head for India

MUMBAI, INDIA: Fujitsu Consulting India, the consulting and services arm of the $50-billion Fujitsu group, today announced the appointment of Anuj Kumar as the new vice president — human resource of India operations.

In this role Kumar is responsible for spearheading the human resource programs in the organization, including human capital development and talent acquisition, said a press release.

A veteran of 27 years in the field of human resources, Kumar is an expert in establishing talent management programs, leading recruitment drives and developing human resource training programs, said Fujitsu.

Prior to his current role, he has worked with leading IT companies including CSC, Globallogic, Keane and HCL. He spearheaded the Employee Centricity Initiative at CSC, Globallogic and Keane.

As a result of his outstanding contributions, all three companies got featured in Best Employer Studies during his tenure, the release added.

Kumar holds a post graduate diploma with a specialization in personnel management from Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS) and a general management program from XLRI Jamshedpur.
