Fujifilm launches J27 and J30 digital cameras

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Photographic solutions company Fujifilm India Pvt. Ltd announced on Wednesday the India launch of its two new digital cameras in the J series - the FinePix J27 and J30.

Available in black and silver, the J27 and J30 series is only 20 mm thick and has special double coated laminate to give a beautifully glossy, varnished finish, said a press release.

According to Kenichi Tanaka, managing director, Fujifilm India, the new products in the J range are compact, affordable, easy-to-use, and produces great images.

Said A. Rajkumar, country general manager (DSC), Fujifilm India, “The new FinePix J27, featuring a 10 mega pixel sensor, and FinePix J30, with a 12 mega pixel sensor, both boast a 2.7” LCD screen, high-quality 3x optical zoom, scene recognition auto and face detection technology with automatic red-eye removal.”

The new models also have maximum ISO sensitivity up to 3200 (3MP), panorama mode among other features, said Fujifilm. While J27 is priced at Rs 7,999, J30 costs Rs. 8,499.
