Building on the worldwide success of Instax mini 8, Fujifilm India has launched its new iconic Instax mini 9 instant camera priced at Rs 5,999.
To up its game, the camera maker has refreshed the range with many new features. To meet especially the needs of the selfie lovers, the camera comes with a selfie mirror, close to the lens, to achieve the best angle. The new Instax Mini 9 is also equipped with a close-up lens in addition to features such as automatic exposure measurement for aperture settings and high-key mode that enables users to take brighter photos – perfect for portraits.
The Instax mini 9 comes in five trendy new colors- “Flamingo Pink”, “Lime Green”, “Cobalt Blue”, “Smoky White” and “Ice Blue” designed to appeal to a broad range of consumers including the millennials, photo enthusiasts, young parent and almost anyone with an eye for design and creativity.

The Instax Mini 9 uses Fujifilm’s instax mini film cartridges to print your photos, giving you 62x46mm sized photographs. The camera is built entirely of plastic but is well put together and feels pretty sturdy. The shutter speed on the Instax Mini 9 is locked to 1/60 seconds and the flash fires every time you take a picture. The camera uses two AA batteries (included in the box), which according to Fujifilm, is good for about 100 shots. Each cartridge holds about 10 films and there’s a counter at the back of the camera to tell you how many shots are left.
