Frontier to expand India operations

BANGALORE, INDIA: Frontier Business Systems Pvt. Ltd, an IT infrastructure solutions and services company, announced its plans to expand “Virtualisation” services business in India.

The company had set up a new state-of-the-art “Green” facility in Bangalore, at an estimated investment of $4 million to support Frontier’s rapid growth and expansion plans in India. This 'green' building covered an area of over 14,000 square feet and would house 250+ employees across corporate, marketing, sales, finance and services delivery teams.

This is possibly the first Green IT building in India, which also had a “Green Data Center”. This facility would showcase Frontier’s Green Virtualization Solutions enabling enterprises to drastically reduce cost, while improving business service availability, agility and performance. 

Arunachalam. S, business head – virtualisation & application delivery, Frontier Business Systems, said, “The new Bangalore facility scores high in key environmental categories such as indoor air quality, energy and water efficiency. We have applied for and hope to shortly achieve a Gold Certification from LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) for Commercial Interiors (CI) from the US Green Building Council (USGBC) for this facility.”

“With a network of 10 offices across India & technology partners like IBM, VMware, Cisco, etc., with customers like BHEL, Thompson-Reuters, Accenture, Alcatel-Lucent, ABB, Netapp etc., Frontier is on an accelerated growth path. We achieved a turnover of Rs. 202 Crores for 2007-2008 and we aim to double this by year ended 2011”, added Arunachalam. S.
