Freescale launches Kinetis L Series Microcontrollers design challenge

BANGALORE, INDIA: Freescale Semiconductor India Pvt. Ltd, a leader in the embedded processing space, launched a design challenge for the electronics design engineering community in India.

This design challenge will help engineers unleash their innovation and creativity while working with Freescale Kinetis L series MCUs-an extension of one of the world's most scalable, energy efficient MCU portfolio. The Freescale Kinetis L Series MCUs Design Challenge is a challenge to highlight the skills of the electronics design engineer community and reflects Freescale's vision to develop an ecosystem based on innovation, creativity and design efficiency.

The Freescale Kinetis L Series MCUs Design Challenge is open to all persons 18 years or older as of January 1st, 2014 who is an Indian resident, who can speak, read and understand English. Professional electronics design engineers, hobbyists & budding engineers are encouraged to participate, design and build innovative embedded systems using Freescale Kinetis L Series MCUs. Interested participants need to register for this challenge at Freescale Kinetis L Series MCUs Design Challenge and obtain a Registration ID - Login/Password and submit an abstract. The last date for the submission of the abstract is April 10, 2014 and the challenge closes on July 20, 2014. The entries will be judged by a team of Freescale experts on parameters like creativity, design efficiency, number of Freescale products incorporated in the design, technical complexity, usefulness of application, overall application rating and environmental benefit potential for end use product.
