Freescale to host global training program

BANGALORE, INDIA: Freescale Semiconductor, a provider in embedded semiconductors, today announced that it would host ‘Design With Freescale’ (DWF), part of a global training program created to inspire and equip design engineers with the latest semiconductor technologies.

The training session and workshop will take place in Bangalore on August 28 and 29 at their facility at RMZ Ecospace, Sarjapur, Outer Ring Road.

It would cover microcontrollers, Ethernet and USB-based applications, MX processors and power architecture microprocessors, which are used in applications across consumer, industrial, wireless, and networking sectors, said a press release.

“India is now recognized for its prowess in cutting-edge design and world-class talent pool. With India moving up the design value chain, we believe engineers will benefit immensely from the hands-on approach of these training programs,” said Sanjeev Keskar, country manager sales, Freescale Semiconductor India Pvt. Ltd.

“These programs have worked well globally and we hope participants in India will be inspired to test the boundaries of creativity and innovation”, he added.

According to the statement the participants would responsible for the payment of a fee of Rs.1000 for attending the two-day training. Every registered participant would receive a complementary development tool kit worth approximately Rs. 1,000, said the organizers.
